Top Met's Punk Gala Look

I have been keeping my eyes on the celebrities during the Met's Punk Gala.

Since the designers get to dress up the top stars, I am indeed impressed the way they mix the punk and personal style.

 

Here are my top looks!

 

 

Beyonce.

 

This definite shout out " BEYONCE!"

Contrast between warm colors and black shows the classy side of her.

I like the way her hair and make up were kept simple so that the dress could catch the attention.

 

Tip: If you wear heavily printed clothes, keep your hair and make up SIMPLE.

Kate Beckinsale

 

Despite of wearing a white gown, her black smokey cat eye shows the fierceness.

Very clean eye make up with defined eyebrows.

 

Tip: Be daring to define your eyebrows, especially when facing the cameras!

 

 

Katy Perry

With her very fair skin, her look is very authentic, which reminds me of the 60s.

Her make up focuses on the maroon lips, which is a contrast from the skin color.

The color shows the independence and power of a woman!

 

Tip: Try darker lip color if you have a thinner lips

Madonna

She is back to Black!

Love her shoulder length curl-in hair.

 

Tip: Darker colored hair with defined cut create a strong look.

Taylor Swift

A totally new look.

With the half tied back hair, she still look sweet and elegant.

Mild smokey eyes works a her lower lash line is more defined.

 

Tip: Try a mild smokey eyes if this is your first time creating this look, then work on more once you are comfortable on stronger look.
