My Wedding Moment

On 16th November 2013, my Love and I celebrated our wedding solemnization ceremony with our family and loved ones. The new phase of life has begun for us and I would like to share this moment with you.

Before the event, I was debating whether I should get a professional make up artist because I thought I would like to do the make up and hair myself. My girlfriends persuaded me to just relax and enjoy because I will be sooo busy! I got what they meant and I contacted Michelle, my make up artists family to make me look gorgeous.

Her Facebook Profile( You're welcome)
My Love.

I am very blessed to have artists with me. One to make me look gorgeous and another to help me with the tie. Thank you, Aries!

Here we are at the exact wedding location!
The Jewel Box, Private Dining Area
We reserved the whole area inclusive of the outdoor so that guests can have the freedom to enjoy the night scene and enjoy our own space.
When Love and I came to take a look at our "future" wedding venue, this is the reason why we fell in love with this place. This is just perfect!
We have been to a few areas to choose the wedding venue but I am looking for a place with view, close to nature and yes...huge glass windows.

We chose to have dinner buffet so that our guests can interact with one another and choose their own preferred food. We love the dishes as well!

Before the solemnization started, KS, our beloved professional photographer got us to do a few wedding couple shots.

Thank you all!

 I love you, Dad.

I was touched to tears when I realized this shot was taken.
This is because we always hug each other.
Love u, sister!

And this is the Women in the House

I am blessed, really blessed.
This is because I have a warm home, and close friends to be with me through the obstacles and best moments. I can never ask for more.
Thank you, God and Thank you all for being the best part of my life.

Love, Bless you all back.
- Welna

Fashion Make Up Class.

Bonjour, Beauty Lovers!
Just to update all of you that i am currently taking Fashion & Photography Make Up Class at Pro Academy. Many of you must be wondering why I am still taking classes despite being a freelance make up artist.

1.) I feel that make up artistry is always about learning new and excel in basic techniques.

2.) This is the best opportunity to pour out your creativity juice and correct mistakes in class.

3.) Confederation of International Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (CIBTAC) Level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic Make-Up
- A 'license' to provide workshop for clients
- Able to take up overseas assignment for organisations

More details:

This is our trainer, Linda Kuo.

She is very detailed, patient, and well to get along.
My classmates and I are always looking forward to explore and experiment different looks under her guidance.

Before the real make up began, we have to design our mood board according to the theme. For this session, Fashion Look.

Kudos to our spontaneous model: Karen & Leopard

We are definitely enjoying our class!

Looking forward to more updates!

Highlighting & Contouring for Eyes!

Beauty Lovers,
Thank you for your patience and appreciate your precious time spent on my beauty blog.

This is the beauty tips for  Highlighting & Contouring for Eyes! .

Plus bonus of additional simple eye make up tutorial steps.

I will be using the Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pen, which is launched not long ago.

Here we go!

Step 1: Prime!

Urban Decay Primer is used for oil control, very usefull especially for oily eyelids ( mostly asian skins)
Simply apply a small amount on your eyelids.

Step 2: HighLight!

Use a highlighter brush, slightly bigger than normal eyeshadow brush, collect the product with a lighter color ( can be used on any palette)

Apply a slight light color beneath the brow bones and above your brows.
This can create a slight 3D effect, so that your eyes have more definition.

Step 3: Contour

Use a contouring brush ( Sephora), collect a slightly darker color.

Apply the darker color on your brown bone and blend in circular motion.
This is the natural contouring effect on my eyes.

The final natural eyeshadow look.

Step 4: EYELINER!
Maybelline Gel Liner

This is how the tip looks like

Finished Look after the application of the eyeliner

This is final look with MUFE Aqua Shadow application on my lower line.

Thats all for now, get dressed up and head out!
Enjoy your new look!

.
